What is a Big 20 Race?
The Big 20 is a semi-annual marathon where speedrunners select 20 games from the NES library and compete against each other to see who can finish them in the shortest amount of time. The list of games and goals is revealed about a month before the event, giving the community only around 4 weeks to practice. You can check out previous game lists and goals here.
How long does it take to finish 20 games?
It depends on the goals set for the marathon, but historically the fastest time clocked in is 2:44:13. The slowest time on record is 52:12:54 and the median time is 4:20:23.
